Supplies you will need:
balloons (we typically use water balloons because of their small size) paint paper plates heavy cardstock paper
In addition to the materials listed above, you’ll also need:
orange cardstock paper googly eyes orange crayon glue
Tutorial:
1. Make grass and chicks using balloon
Use green paint to make balloon print grass at the bottom of your paper. Also, use yellow paint to make prints onto your paper for the chicks. Let your paper dry completely.
2. Glue on beaks & eyes
Cut small triangle beaks out of your orange cardstock and glue them onto your yellow balloon prints along with some googly eyes.
3. Draw feels and feathers
Use your orange oil pastel or crayon to draw feet and feathers onto your chicks. How simple was that?
