Supplies you will need:
Bee Pattern Printable (printed on cardstock paper) black and yellow tissue paper white cardstock paper black pipe cleaner toothpick (optional) or you can use a black pipe cleaner large googly eyes tape glue
Directions:
1. Print and cut out bee pattern
Start by printing and cutting out the Bee Pattern.
2. Cut tissue paper squares and glue them onto bee sections
Cut tissue paper squares out of your yellow and black tissue paper. One section at a time, glue your tissue paper squares onto your Bee, making a yellow and black striped pattern.
3. Create and attach antennae
Cut your pipe cleaner in half, bend it and curl the ends over to make antennae. Tape them to the back of your Bee.
4. Create bee stinger
Have an adult cut the sharp point off of your toothpick and tape it onto the back of your Bee for a stinger. (Use caution with the toothpick! If your child intends to play with the craft and not just display it, you may want to fold a pipe cleaner in half for the stinger and tape it to the back.)
6. Glue googly eyes
Finish your Bee by gluing your large googly eyes onto the front of him.
